Lush- Guardian of the forest review!

Oh my goodness I can't believe it's June already.

As you've probably realised a lot of things are been going on these last few months. We've moved, works been busy and and we just been generally sorting out everything we need to start living our lives how we want to again.

I thought I'd get back on the blogging horse again by doing a nice little review on Lush's lovely Oxford Street exclusive bath bomb guardian of the forest. Since being launched in 2015 this has become one of my favourite bath bombs. Rich and woody I feel like it really feels a void in the range.

If you want a super relaxing yet uplifting bath bomb that isn't packed with strong citrus scents then this may be the bath bomb for you!

So let's talk about what's in it!
Cypress oil has been used for many years as a sedative which means it's super nice to use when you're stressed or tired. This oil also is the main ingredient in the fragrance, making it rich, earthy and comforting.
Lime oil is uplifting and fresh. So yes there is a little bit of citrus in there but for me it's not very noticeable, it just helps to cut through the heavier scents. Normally I have a slight intolerance to lime but because it's a small amount diluted in a deep bath I had no problems with my skin. result!
Oakmoss works really well with the cypress. It mixes with the bright wood and makes the whole bath an experience. Like walking though the woods after rain.
The Last oil to talk about is Rosewood,  one of my favourite oils, antiseptic and uplifting this oil is gently fragranced and elevates any fragrance blend into an all singing menagerie of goodness.  Lush gets it Rosewood from it's sLush fund, you can read an awesome article about it here. It's written by head of buying Simon Constantine so go check it out.

My favourite way to enjoy GOTF
This is a very pretty bomb decorated with a tree of life in two different shades of green which makes this ballistic stand out from the crowd.

GOTF in action

This product has loads of shimmer inside a secret hidden layer of yellow. as it fizzes around it releases the glitter. It's almost like dew in the grass.
Everything about the bath bomb is emotive and exciting for me it's a really winner.
