Just a little tutorial to show you how I got these boss nails did.
Let's go!
So, the two colours I used were an O.P.I nail laquer in 'chillin' like a villain' this part of the muppets most wanted miniature set. I also used the BarryM nail art pen in black. You know how much I loved the White one so I thought I'd finally take the plunge and get black.
I also used a top coat, any top coat will do, to seal in the black pattern.
Step 1.
Make sure your nails are clean and free from any previous nail colour. As we are using a nude varnish older colours could show underneath. The paint your nails I ended up do about 3 coats.
Step 2.
When your nails are completely dry start drawing your design. I suggest practicing on a bit of paper first. To get the isosceles triangle, pop a dot in the middle of your nail. And two dots about 5mm apart at the base of your nail. Then connect the dots and colour in.
Still with me?
Step 3.
I used my forth finger as an accent nail. I decided to draw a chevron at the top of my nail.
Top tip- take your time with this one, if you're not comfortable painting chevrons you could draw and inverted triangle or a circle. Just try to keep it geometric.
Step 4.
Leave these to be dry, and I mean it! If you put the top coat on when wet the black might drag. When you're happy they're dry. Pop on that top coat.
If you have any nail decorations like gems then they would look nice. Just keep it minimal. Gold or silver would be best for this look.
With the black pen, I did find that this smudged a little easier than the white. Just go easy and have Cotten buds on hand! I'm
Hope you enjoyed that little bit of nail doing.
Speak to you soon,
